Summer is here! It’s my favorite time of the year and I love the hot weather and soaking up the sunshine. It’s time for my summer addition of conscious clothing ideas!
The Brigitte from Albion Fit – This swimsuit is one of my favorites. I actually have this style in a different print, and it is so classy and flattering. They also have a variety of cute two pieces if that’s more your style. Their quality is amazing! Every piece is ethically made in Guatemala.
Pocket Dress from Wear Pact – Wear Pact has some of the best basic essentials! I recently bought this dress and love it! It’s a great fit, has pockets, and is comfortable. I’ve been impressed with my purchases from Wear Pact. They are all fairly made with organic cotton.
Ribbon Sandals from Sseko Designs – I just recently purchased my first pair of ribbon sandals, and immediately wondered why I waited so long. They are very comfortable, and I love that you can buy so many different ribbons. There is countless ways to tie them. They are handmade in Uganda with locally sourced materials.
Happy Village Tank from Sudara – It’s always nice to have a few tanks that are just easy to throw on. Add a long necklace, and you’re good to go. Ethically made in Bangladesh, Sudara works to keep families together to help prevent sex trafficking.
Miriam Skirt from Elegantees – This skirt is perfect to wear with your summer tees and tanks! I love a pop of color, and this skirt is fun and easy to wear! It was sewn by women rescued from sex trafficking in Nepal.
Veronica Tee from Threads for Thought – A simple grey V-neck is always great to have. Made with eco-friendly fabrics, all Thread for Thought’s styles are ethically and consciously made. They also have excellent prices!
Izzie D’orsay flat from The Root Collective – I’ve been a fan of The Root Collective’s mission for some time now. I love the personal relationship they have with the artisans that make their shoes. The stripes on these are a fun addition to your outfit, plus they’ve all been handcrafted in Guatemala!
Highland Park Maxi Dress from Mata Traders – I love this printed maxi dress, which would be a great option for summer weddings! It was made at a fair trade organization in India.
Gidget Frey Short from Kut from the Kloth – I’ve loved all my Kut from the Kloth denim, and a simple pair of jean shorts is always good to have. Kut from the Kloth operates with the highest ethical standards.
Cotton Tank from Everlane – This has been one of my favorite go-to tanks, and I love the fit of it! I really appreciate Everlane’s openness about their costs and still offering an affordable price. It was ethically made in Los Angelos, CA.
What is your favorite summer piece? I’d love to hear! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
